Wonderful lunch at Don Turriddu! I highly recommend eating there to everybody who loves fresh fish.Wonderful antipasti and a huge selection of various dishes, all based on the freshest fish and seafood.Huge portions. Both my husband and I are strong eaters, but for the first time for a long time we could not finish our plates...DELICIOUS FOOD and WONDERFUL AND FRIENDLY SERVICE BY THE OWNER FAMILY.I had dinner twice at the previous restaurant in 2006 - wonderful dinner experiences with Sicilian friends back then - and had to go back there now in 2024. I&#39;ve learnt from the family that the two brothers split the original reswonderful, fresh fish!!!

Non sempre la seconda volta mantiene le promesse della prima... Tornati un mese dopo (vedi recensione) siamo rimasti ancora soddisfatti. Stesso men&ugrave; fisso, stessa ottima qualit&agrave;, solito servizio amichevole. Sempre eccezionale, nella qualit&agrave; e nel prezzo. S&igrave; pu&ograve; mangiare fuori in una strada  popolare catanese o farsi &quot;condizionare&quot; dentro. Abbiamo preferito fuori. Unico consiglio (da chi mangia molto piano) &egrave; aspettare a servire gli antipasti caldi quando quelli freddi sono finiti. Grazie di nuovo.

Not always the second time keeps the promises of the first ... Return one month after (see review) we remained still satisfied. The same fixed menu, the same excellent quality, usually friendly service. Always exceptional, in quality and price. Yes, you can eat out on a popular catalan street or get &quot;conditioned&quot; inside. We preferred out. The only advice (of who eats very slowly) is to wait to serve hot meals when the cold is over. Thank you again.

Ordinato 2 menu &quot;ridotti&quot; a prezzo fisso (solo 23&euro;), uno di solo antipasto e primo l&#39;altro di antipasto e secondo.Siamo rimasti piacevolmete sorpresi, oltre che dalla gentilezza e correttezza dei gestori, dalla qualit&agrave; e quantit&agrave; degli antipasti.. Alcuni crudi (gamberetti e alici), altri caldi come le polpette di neonato (&quot;mucco&quot; a Catania), fritturine di calamari e &quot;opiceddi&quot; (piccolissime boghe), ottime cozze al pomodoro, e soprattutto un buonissimo pesce spada &quot;marinato&quot; (anche per me che non amo i pesci grandi).Abbiamo fatto molta fatica a finirli, anzi &egrave; avanzato qualcosa che la signora gentilmente ci ha incartato da porta via.Abbiamo quindi affrontato gi&agrave; affaticati il primo (spagnetti allo scoglio) e il secondo ((una grigliatina). Buoni anche quelli.Il tutto &egrave; stato accompagnato dal forte vino della casa e un sorbetto di imone al gusto di vero limone.Al moment del conto il gestore ha correttamente accettato il pagamento con The Fork Pay.Grazie,torneremo con i figli.

Locale tipico. Ottima cucina di mare con piatti abbondanti. Prezzi giusti  Il proprietario Alfio e la moglie sono gentilissimi e premurosi con la clientela. Consigliato.
